The various social media channels use codes, with which they place cookies via the site. These social media channels collect information that they can obtain through the cookies. Maravilla Verde uses various social media channels. By clicking on the name of the media channel you can find the privacy statement here of: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Vimeo, etc. To make it as easy as possible for you, we use buttons, links and/or contact forms. These social media channels also collect information. The privacy statements of the various social media channels make clear what happens to the data.

5. General Privacy

Maravilla Verde does not collect and process personal data. Personal data is only stored when it is provided voluntarily by the customer.

We store information for various reasons. Below you can read what information we keep about you and what for.

Contact Form

You can ask us a question via the contact form. We ask you to fill in your name and email address, and of course your question. This way we know who the question comes from and we reply by sending an email. When you fill-in your telephone number, it could be we also contact you by telephone. You are not obliged to give your telephone number.

However, it is useful for when an incorrect email address has been entered by mistake, then we can also reach you by telephone

We also use a chat function. This way you can easily chat with us via the website. For this we need your name and your email address.

Your account

You can create an account at Maravilla Verde. It stores the following data: name, address(es), email address and booking and payment details. This way you do not have to enter your details every time. Also useful: we store data on your previous reservations. This makes it easy for you to find the information.

Making a reservation

For your reservation we need the following information: name, address(es), email address and payment details. With this information we can make the booking and send you a reservation confirmation. We also need to have your telephone number for easy contact, in case we require more information from you or want to provide you with information on your reservation.


To make payment as easy as possible for you, we use an online payment service. This allows you to pay your order with, for example, IDEAL. In order to carry this out, your payment details, IP-address, your internet browser, your device type and in some cases your name and address data are shared with the online payment service. We do not have access to this data.


You will only receive a newsletter from Maravilla Verde if you yourself have registered for it. Mailchimp is used to distribute the newsletter. This means that your details (name and email address) are also known to them. Do you want to unsubscribe? That is always possible.


On our website you can also download information in the form of an e-book. We ask for your email address so that we can send this information. If you want to register for the newsletter, you can do that too, but then you must give us explicit permission for this via the application form. As a result of the e-book we can send you emails about our company. You can always unsubscribe.


We have to keep an administration for our company. For this we use an accounting programme where the invoices for a reservation are collected. As a result, your name and address details are known to our accounting programme.

Sending the documents

When Maravilla Verde prepares documents for you or your company, we must be able to send these documents. We do this by email and use the email address provided by you. You will also receive confirmation of your reservation at this email address.

Photos and videos for website or social media

Sometimes we take photos or videos of our guests to post to our website or social media. This only happens if you have given permission. We keep these images, on which you are clearly visible, for use on the website or social media to show the surroundings of Maravilla Verde and let others feel the ambiance. These images are only saved when you have given explicit permission for this.


Children’s data are only stored when we have permission from the parent(s) or carer(s). Without this permission we will never process data from children.

7. The principles for processing personal data

Maravilla Verde must have a basis to keep and use your data. You can see this as a condition required to process data. The bases for us are:

  • The data; email address, telephone number, date of birth, passport number or ID number, payment details and delivery address are necessary for the execution of the agreement that has been entered into with you.
  • The company name and name and address details, date of birth, passport number or ID number are required for compliance with the statutory obligations under the Tax Law.
  • We will ask you for permission to send the newsletter. You can always withdraw this permission.
  • We have a legitimate interest in sending direct marketing to potential customers. With every form of direct marketing to be sent, we will seek a balance between our marketing interests and any possible privacy damage to you.

Without name, address, date of birth, email address, identification number/passport number and payment details Maravilla Verde cannot complete a reservation. The moment you do not want to provide your personal details, we cannot help you further. Therefore, no reservation will be made, which means that Maravilla Verde can not receive you as a guest. Do you want to make a reservation? Then you are obliged to give your details. You are not obliged to create an account or register for the newsletter. That is a free choice.

8. Sharing with others

Maravilla Verde will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide/issue it if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation. We have an agreement with the companies that process your data on behalf of Maravilla Verde, to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data, as that of Maravilla Verde.

9. How long we store data

We do not store your data longer than is strictly necessary in order to achieve the purposes for which we have collected your data. The retention period (s) are:

  • To send a newsletter we store your email address and name and address details as long as the company Maravilla Verde exists. If you do not want this, you can unsubscribe any time.
  • The necessary data is, after completion of the assignment, saved for 7 years after the invoice has been paid. This is in order to comply with the administrative obligations of the laws and regulations.
  • The account you have created will remain as long as you want. This way, you will always have insight into your reservation(s). If you wish, this account will be deleted immediately. Please contact us for this.
  • When you unsubscribe from the newsletter, your data will be deleted after a maximum of 3 months.

10. Your rights

You have the right to view, to correct, to delete, to have the stored personal data transported to another company that needs your data, to minimise the data to only what is necessary and you have the right to object to the saving of the data.
